Job Description
- Materials characterization of fuel injection systems and Exhaust gas treatment
- Heat treatment support for power train components
- Fatigue testing and Analysis for metals for power train components
- Support for Product Development, Cost reduction & Localisation projects
- Failure investigations of field, endurance and fatigue tested components
- Laboratory management system as per ISO 17025
- Analysis of Fatigue Strength of Metals for Electric / Diesel / Gasoline system components
- Estimation of Fatigue Life of DS-FIE components based on load data
Qualifications
- B.E. / B. Tech in Metallurgy / Mechanical Engineering with approximately 3-5 experience in automotive industry
Additional Information
- Hands on Experience in analytical tools like, SEM, microscope,
- Experience in laboratory managment system software
- Understanding of Electric / Diesel / Gasoline system components
- Willingness to work in shifts
- Good knowledge with fatigue testing experimental, numerical and analytical topics
- Hands-on experience on Data Acquisition tools
- Exposure to product development processes
- In-depth knowledge on Mathematics and Statistics
- Experience with testing, failure analysis and metallurgical properties of metals.
- Ability to interact with cross functional teams during the design, development and manufacturing phase
- Ability to interact with suppliers and clarify design & manufacturability questions related to proto & component build
