Job Summary: Responsible for managing quality assurance in molding.

Main Responsibilities / Tasks:

  • Make sure that every shift has an adequate number of Quality inspectors
  • Have daily meetings with moulding QA inspectors to make them aware of safety topics, customer complaints (external/internal), major internal quality issues, any message related to NPD/PCR
  • Co-ordinate with the inspectors for first piece approval, patrol inspection
  • Manage the pre-delivery inspection in moulding in order to make sure that only quality part goes for further process.
  • Analyze the quality issues in plastic moulded parts and take up in moulding QRQC for fast resolution.
  • Attend the mould trials, prepare ISIR and share with project team
  • Attend assembly QRQC meeting to understand the assembly feedback for necessary actions in moulding
  • Analyze PDI data to identify the weak mould and share the list with mould maintenance/production team for necessary actions
  • Record the data pertaining to quality KPIs.
Qualifications
  • BE Mechanical/Production
  • Experience: Minimum 4 years
  • Computer knowledge (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Power point)
  • Good verbal & written communication
  • Knowledge of ISO9001 system

Job Summary: Responsible for managing quality assurance in the cartridge and final product assembly

Main Responsibities / Tasks:

  • Make sure that quality inspector is deployed for every product line.
  • Have daily meeting with inspectors to make them aware on safety topics, customer complaints, major internal quality issues, any message related to NPD/PCR
  • Make sure that First piece approval is done for every product / every stage in cartridge and assembly
  • Co-ordinate patrol & final inspection in cartridge and assembly area.
  • Take decisions in case of non-conforming products in consultation with plant quality manager
  • Study the product specs / SO. Audit the product lines and make sure that product is built as per the specifications / SO.
  • Audit the work done/process followed by the inspectors. Train them in case of any gap
  • Attend daily QRQC meeting on shop floor and make sure that all the prioritized quality issues are killed through that forum
  • Record the data pertaining to quality KPIs
  • Analyze of internal/external quality issues and recommend CAPA on them
  • Make sure that NPD/PCR samples are made as per the specs and are thoroughly inspected before sending out of the factory
  • Witness Full Production Run for NPD/PCR and make sure that product is produced as per the specs. Prepare FPR report
