Job description

Brief Description of Roles and Responsibilities :

• Ensure that the paint transfers from the mixer to the filling machine
• Ensure that the nozzles are filling in an adequate quantity of paint
• Train technicians on the inputs (price, batch number) on the printer for labeling and MF MAT 18
• Ensure the accuracy of label orientation and printing message
• Ensure that the necessary packing materials are available
• Instruct the forklift person to place the lids and cartons at the appropriate lines
• Troubleshoot any problems that may arise in the packing line
• Transfer of finished goods and their storage in the ASRS
• Maintain the Production report on a daily basis
• Ensure the safety of the people working in the block
• Ensure that scrap is disposed of properly
• Reading the shift report and understanding the current status of work
• Ensuring that there are enough lids and cartons to continue packing without stoppage
• Ensuring the shop floor stock of finished goods to be minimum
• Ensure that correct data is entered into image printers and on the label from MES according to MF MAT 18
• Ensure that correct data has been fed into the packing machine for weight per liter.
• Start the batch in co-ordination with the Sr-officer
• Ensure that no foreign substance is mixed with paint
• Carry out SPC of machines, Ensuring packing line is clean.
• Ensure 5S of the working area.

Brief description of knowledge and skills required

• Robotic palletizers – their working and principle of operation, volumetric and gravimetric filling machines, operation of carton-feeding and sealing machines, operation of automatic printing and labeling machines, ERP – MM/ PP.
• Prior experience in supervising shifts. Prior experience working on an automated packing line.
• Experience of working on DCS/PLC.
