Job description
Adani Group is hiring a Deputy Manager for NMPT (New Mangalore Port Trust) for their location in Udupi, Karnataka, India. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operations and maintenance of the port facilities and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. They will also be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase the efficiency and profitability of the port.
To assist the Fuel Management department in accomplishing the organization’s goals by performing equipment maintenance tasks, system upgrades, ensuring equipment dependability, and cost-controlling maintenance operations.
- ensuring equipment availability to maintain plant operations without interruption.

- All mechanical maintenance and upgrade tasks for pump house equipment, pipeline, quick loading system, DFDS, yard sprinkler system, and fire water system must be planned, organized, and carried out.
- Management and disposal of scrap.
- Best 5S practices implementation, documentation, and maintenance of the 5S system at ECHP.
- assuming more responsibility for carrying out their responsibilities when other employees are not there.
- Organizing maintenance chores and ensuring strict adherence to PM, CM, and CBM requirements.
- Planning for materials and creating a budget.
- Planning for maintenance and routine progress reviews.
- examination of the budget and cost management.
- preventing any production loss caused by a lack of replacement parts.
- ensuring defect attention and complete adherence to Gensuite requirements.
- Analysis of the failure and use of corrective actions.
- involvement in audits and ensuring complete adherence to the observations
- prompt issuance of work permits and complete adherence to the PTW system
- putting management initiatives into action and maintaining them.
- planning, inventory control, and timely provision of necessary materials are spares.
- cleaning in the relevant area.
- the execution of any management initiatives that will be periodically communicated.
Essential Qualification: DME/BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
