This is a Design Engineer position with the Bangalore based Motion division, reporting to the Engineer Manager. 

Applying standard design principles, create and alter the standard designs of machinery, systems, or installations, as well as the standard requirements for manufacture, fabrication, or construction, for assignments categorized as low to medium complexity.

Your responsibilities as a Design Engineer

• Completing 2D and 3D deliverables and design annotations in accordance with QCD obligations, expertise standards, and processes.
• Create formal electronic design drawings by conceptualizing new concepts.
• Review the drawings and specifications, then let the vendors know what is needed.
• Recognize and update every product drawing.
• Contribute ideas and make adjustments to product designs, both new and old.
• capable of performing all mathematical operations linked to CAD with knowledge and proficiency.
• FEA analysis of mechanical designs and functionalities.
• Constantly makes suggestions for enhancements to standards, goods, and designs.
• Bill of Materials realization.
• Incorporating project requirements into product design (performances, manufacturability, serviceability, testability, etc).

Your background

• Need a mechanical engineering bachelor’s degree.
• 4–7 years of relevant work experience is preferred.
• Mechanical engineering with one to two years of expertise is best suited to railway products.
• Program for expert design, such as Solid Edge and AutoCAD.
• capable of performing and analyzing FEA and hand calculation results.
