Job description
  • Investigates projects and capital equipment proposals, develop justification, create budget requests, acquire equipment, install equipment, and make sure that the objectives of the justification are met.
  • To accomplish Flowserve’s goals and objectives, partners with Manufacturing Supervisors.
  • specifies and buys production supplies that increase efficiency and cut expenses.
  • makes sure CNC programs are available to meet new products and client requirements.
  • helps to develop, teach, and keep up a flexible operator’s CNC programming and tooling skill base.
  • ensures that there is enough equipment, including fixtures, to meet client demand.
  • Process and equipment issues are resolved to prevent production schedule delays.
  • helps with the creation of the manufacturing strategic plan and the profit plan. 
  • To ensure timely completion and within budget, keep an eye on the status of the allocated capital projects and expenditures.
  • keeps up with current advancements in machine tool hardware, software, and processes. 
  • When applications are practical, suggest creative strategies to raise throughput and quality.
  • Executes tasks assigned by management supports all company objectives and understands them.
  • Ensures that all applicable OSHA laws are met by the tools, fixtures, and processes in order to enforce safety guidelines.
  • Ensures that processes adhere to all relevant environmental requirements in order to enforce Flowserve’s environmental policies. 
  • Subcontractors are managed in accordance with the applicable environmental rules of Flowserve.
  • Demonstrates the capacity and eagerness to work as a team.
  • Respects each and every one of their clients and coworkers.
  • More tasks as needed.
Preferred Training / Competencies:
  • A track record of successfully managing and implementing Continuous Improvement Methodologies to reduce costs in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge about the manufacturing industry.
  • having the ability to read and interpret materials like operation and maintenance guidelines, technical drawings, and safety regulations.
  • Possess the ability to communicate technically and routinely.
  • The capacity to communicate effectively before groups of clients or company employees.
  • Understanding and application of advanced statistical theory, current algebra, and trigonometry principles.
  • Ability to identify problems, gather information, confirm facts, and reach reliable conclusions.
  • Experience working with a variety of abstract and concrete variables and interpreting technical directions in mathematical or graphical form.
  • BS or BA in the relevant discipline, as well as 0–2 years of related experience
