You will be working as Associate Commissioning Engineer and will be part of Robotics & Discrete Automation Business Area for Robot Automotive Division based in Bangalore North, India. In this role you will be reporting to Business Manager – Portfolio and will be responsible for on-site robot debugging which includes robot system commission, functional program module writing, process debugging, and problem handling.

Your responsibilities

  • Managing and monitoring project during whole execution period until getting FAC
  • Achieving paint process parameters on surfaces like DFT, gloss, color values etc
  • Robot application programming, industrial robot/spraying robot debugging (gluing, flaming, blowing, wiping, film thickness detection)
  • Vision system measuring and maintaining, and be able to complete a new model introduction robot simulation independently
  • Working on underbody coating and spray applications
  • Supporting in Paint Process parameters achievement
  • Hands-on Experience in robot disassembly and maintenance activities

Your background

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Paint technology/Chemical engineering/Mechanical
  • Minimum 0 to 2 years of experience in the Automation industry
  • Proficiency in Key MS Office programs is a must
  • Highly motivated team player with a collaborative, learning & solutions-oriented approach, and strong communication skills
  • Willing and flexible to travel
