Key skills: Proficiency in Creo Wildfire all modules including surfacing, Wind-chill (PDM (product data management software), CAE analysis experience(Pro-mechanica, Ansys), Unigraphics, Surfacing
JOB PROFILE
- Design and development of a new model from scratch to commercialization
- Supporting existing product platforms for quality improvement, design improvements, and productivity improvement
- Coordinate with all depts. to carry out the smooth execution of projects in time bound manner, meeting cost targets and quality standards
- Handle product approvals in-house or outside in customers’ lab or third-party certification
- Develop product design solutions by taking into consideration
industry and regulatory standards. - Proves product design by developing test plans, revising the design,
conducting performance calculations, and approving prototypes, all within
quality and regulatory standards. - Participate and lead design teams Develop new product concepts, and aesthetic concepts, and create designs in 3-D CAD.
- Develops product literature by recording, interpreting, and
explaining technical data and performance. - Lead and guide team for product design by developing test plans, revising the design,
conducting performance calculations, and approving prototypes, all within
quality and regulatory standards. - Technical documentation, literature, specification, etc
- Should have experience in sheet metal, structural and plastic designing
- Should have experience in structural design.
- Experience working on product data management software like windchill
- Experience in working on CAE analysis( software like pro mechanics, analysis, etc)
- Knowledge of design/process like tool manufacturing, injection molding, vacuum forming
- Knowledge of mechanical analysis software preferred
- Knowledge of GD & T systems
- Leading group of team and Handling multiple projects
