About CSETA Team in Bangalore: This is a group within Vehicle Engineering of Group Trucks Technology. This team has the responsibilities to develop components and systems such as Chassis Structure, Equipment & Transport Adaptation for different truck brands of Volvo Group.

Job Description:
In the area of chassis structures, we are now looking for a GAT – Engineer to contribute to the product development activities. The main deliverables of the role of a Graduate Apprentice Trainee are:

• Learning and developing practical skills by participating in design and development activities alongside experienced team members
• Undertaking a variety of engineering tasks to come up with design concepts/solutions, numerical computations, and preparation of drawings and reports
• Study, and review of open source, and internal engineering reports, come up with benchmark reports, understand industry standards and their applicability to area of work
• Interacts with engineers, vehicle architects, and members of cross-functional networks to complete the tasks

Qualifications and Skills:

• Completed B.E. / B.Tech. Mechanical Engineering
• Required hands-on experience in CAD Tools / Creo
• Awareness of structural design with FE simulation tools is a plus
• Required experience with MS Office tools – Excel and PowerPoint
• The ability to automate to avoid repetitive design engineering tasks is an advantage
