Job description

Aerodynamic & Mechanical > Nacelle Module > Nacelle Quality

Nacelle Quality is part of the Nacelle module, which is responsible for all development of the Base frame, Yaw system, Cover, Cooling and conditioning, Structure and internal, Transport, Construction, and maintenance. The Quality department is working across the Nacelle module to secure high quality in both development and processes.
The Sub Module Quality will have to work with and define quality initiatives across the entire Module Organization. The NAC Module is international with departments in Denmark, Portugal, China, and India

Responsibilities

• Gather and understand project requirement/scope
• Make an Improvement project plan for CIM cases along with the Product owner and scrum master
• Implement CAD & FEA and Provide Improvement solutions to the Customer
• Understand the risk and prepare a mitigation plan and adapt to field learning
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and implement the project with Vestas’s process
• Supervise and align project issues with stakeholders
• Deliver the technical solution within the quality, time, and cost targets of the project
• Provide feedback and task design solutions to interfacing systems in order to optimize product design

Qualifications

• Bachelor / Master’s degree in Mechanical / Design Engineering
• Experience with Creo & ANSYS Structural calculations
• Technical leadership & Project management skills (technical project management)
• Experience with Creo and PDM Link and Jira
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum)
• Model new and change existing CAD models

• Can develop innovative solutions to the problems we face when performing these examines
• Including the development or introduction of new tools and processes into our workflow
• Have a solid understanding of mechanical systems
• Efficiently communicate with the Engineers
• Succeed as part of a team and it comes naturally for you to collaborate and share knowledge
• Have the patience to listen to, understand and respect your colleagues
• Are committed to learning the state-of-the-art in Wind Turbine CAD technology
• I like to work with complex engineering problems and have a creative approach to new tasks
