Part of the multi-disciplinary Nacelle Structure & Internals Sub module has total of 16 Solid Structural/Mechanical engineers with FEA ,CAD, Technical and functional lead competence who are responsible for innovating the new products, Running turbines and Technical Quality of the sub-module for all Product Variants
Responsibilities
- Design for Sub Module specifications and requirements
- Design for functionality, including functional critical and Noncritical interfaces
- Design for performance and reliability including lifetime estimates of the wind turbine design
- Design for risk associated to the service & construction
- Design for safety
- Providing solutions to design issues
- Delivery of project design work through gates, matching specifications for function, cost, quality, & time
- A Team member who is creative, innovative, and focused
Qualifications
- Master’s / Bachelor’s in Mechanical / Structural / Aerospace/ similar fields
- Deliver 3D,2D and Design BoM with right quality and on time as agreed with project timeline
- Engineering change management
- Accountability, with focus on the deliveries (time, cost, scope, quality)
- Knowledge on Structural/Mechanical engineering design
- Experience on steel structure & sheet metal material properties
- Design norms and standards: European standards, DNV standards
- Align the concept and detailed design with interfacing component owners and value chain requirements
- Understanding a product life cycle/value chain
Competencies
- Knowledge on Basic FEA analysis and update the models based on analysis report
- Knowledge in system interface design & stakeholder management
- Knowledge about manufacturing methods
- Knowledge about Test & Verification: Understand set up of testing & test result analysis
- Knowledge about Global supply chain management / Sourcing
- Engineering drawing: knowledge of international engineering design and drawing standards
- Good communication and Soft skills
- A Team member who is enthusiastic, focused, and organized
- Critical thinking, attention to detail
