Accountable for :
Complying with Mechanical Métiers processes and Design Rules:
- Plan, monitor and control activities according to mechanical product design process of his/her PG/PL following CPM (CLEAN Project Management)
- In charge of the robust design / validation in line with the economic targets
- Review Internal requirements, Customer Requirements, Specifications
- Perform or support design calculations / simulations / associated acceptance tests
- Coordination with simulation/mechatronic leader/engineer to ensure mechanical design robustness
- Applies Standardization rules, exceptionally will request destandardizations based on justifications
- Responsible for Mechanical Metier design reviews preparation, and in charge of problem solving of his metier on the defined project
- Interface with the customer for mechanical content
- Report and escalate to the Product Technical Manager/Leader/Engineer and his Hierarchical
Responsible for the detailed scheduling and budgeting
- Contribute to the identification of the needs in terms of resources, equipments, and investments align with the budget of the project
- Establish detailed breakdown of the activities to meet the milestones
- Follow activities and spending of his scope to meet his allowed budget and timing
Management of the contributors
- Daily management of his group
- Assign to them the needed work packages
- Regular review with his/her Hierarchical to check alignment between needs and availabilities
