Position – Deputy Team Lead – Mechatronics

Job description
Design Review of Electronic Components for all projects.
- Freezing Technical Specifications of Hardware Components with Suppliers.
- Coordination between Hardware & Mechanical team.
- Review and Freeze HMI Document.
- Selection of Hardware Components.
- Conducting regular review meetings with Design leaders and and facilitating in resolving open issues(All metiers)
- Identifying the potential risks and mitigation plans to overcome them & Involving PG/BG as and when required for decision making.
- Some of the critical information flow from HW to mechanical
- Formfactor information(Dimensions)
- PCB layers & Stack up
- Clearance, creepage info (safety aspects)
- Component Footprints information
- Components selection as per customer requirements(Connectors, Wires etc)
- PCB Layout support(keep outs, Isolation etc)
- Some of the critical information flow from HW to Software
- Hardware information(Architecture, PIN configurations, Microcontroller used, Analog, digital interfaces, PWM,LV measurements, etc)
- The ADC ,Operating modes(Normal, Standby, sleep, reset etc),HV measurements and the current measurements information as per customer requirements.
- Leads technically and supports industrialization (design for manufacturing).
- To analyse impact of change requests (customer and internal) and follow their implementation.
- Freeze SVRF (Supplier Valeo Requirement File) as and when required.
- Support for ASPICE.
BE in Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineering from a reputed institute or university
- Good Background in Mechatronics Component Design & Development process in Automotive industry or similar background experience
Position – Engineer Reliability

- To create predictive reliability methods, tools and standards
- Perform product Reliability Predictions
- Create and maintain the correlation study database
- Define Correlation study methodology
Responsibilities
- To create predictive reliability methods, tools and standards
- Explore different methods (like Physics of failure) to make accurate life prediction of Mechanical components and systems
- Create automated prediction tools in Excel and prepare tutorials to explain method of performing life predictions
- Define standards for life and reliability predictions of mechanical systems and components using available data
- Perform product Reliability Predictions
- Predict product Reliability using Tests results, Field measurement, Simulation results and Material data
- Consider all product specification, usage conditions and driving patterns while performing Reliability predictions
- Creation clear and concise report for quick and effective decision making
- Create and maintain the correlation study database
- Periodically collect and store the correlation study database
- Maintain a clean and up to date database for study purpose
- Define Correlation study methodology
- Set a robust criteria for virtual product validation
- Implement variability in simulation model
- Collaborate with all key people and validate the methodology

Responsible for analysis of automotive regulations & to conduct regulatory design reviews for PTS products
Responsibilities
- Ability to read Regulatory technical documents & understand the requirements
- Convert regulatory requirements in to Valeo standards & update the documents periodically.
- To coordinate with PG Raise Managers & be a proxy for Sr.Regulation Engineers based on requirement.
- To ensure regulatory compliance in projects by conducting design reviews & assess the risk involved.
- Other specific activities indicated by TL / Managers.
- Good communication skills
Education/Training
- BE / B.Tech – Mechatronics (Preferred) / Electrical / Mechanical
Professional Experience
- Preferably 3 to 5 years of experience in automotive industry
- Preferable work experience in regulations, Homologation & Certification topics. (or)
- Development / Validation experience in handling Electro-Mechanical components for HEV / EV
