Job Description
- Design of Medium Power Transformers ranging up to 30MVA, voltage class up to 66 kV.
- Design of special transformers, Converter Duty Transformer, Inverter Duty Transformer, Earthing Transformer, Compact Substation and Unit Substation.
- Should have relevant experience of 5-8 years in design of Medium Power Transformers ranging up to 30MVA, voltage class up to 66 kV and special transformers, Converter Duty Transformer, Inverter Duty Transformer, Earthing Transformer, Compact Substation, and Unit Substation.
- Should have experience in design and finalize the type and configuration of the transformer tanks, accessories and other exterior components in line with customer specifications, transport arrangements, meets national and international standards based on optimized cost criteria.
- Should have knowledge in different types of tank constructions like radiator, corrugation, external OLTC mounting, in tank OLTC mounting and windings like DISC,CTC & Foil etc.,
- Should have awareness in different tap changers of in-tank and flange mounted latest type models.
- Should have experience in evaluation of tank strength, stiffener, pressure and vacuum calculations and understanding of marshalling box wiring is essential.
- Should have experience in Auto-CAD and Inventor.
- Should have familiarity in different international standards like IEC,ANSI,EN,AS & JIS etc.,
- Have experience in production is an added advantage.
- Should have good inter personal and intra personal skills
- Should have Very good communication and presentation skills
