Location: Chakan, Pune

Position Summary:

To perform and execute Electrical Work and Wiring of AAQMS, CEMS & PM products in Integration Area. To assist Testing team during Pre-FAT & FAT activities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Receives instructions and perform the task following the EHS rules and regulations of Thermo Fisher Scientific.
• Job Planning Weekly & Monthly inline with the Quarterly Projects.
• Fill the Production Job Card System on all work performed on daily basis.
• Allot job to technician team.
• Record all changes made on shop floor and get necessary approval from Engineering / PM / Production manager.
• Maintains a neat and orderly manner work space.
• Should be able to read engineering drawings related to Electrical wiring and component assembly.
• After completion of the job allot to QC.
• Should be good in task like using measuring tape, ferruling, labeling, cable end trimming and lugging, soldering, sleeving, cable dressing.
• Should have good skill in handling various tools used in delivering his daily duties like screw driver, nut runner, ratchet spanners etc.
• Should have knowledge in handling basic testing equipment’s like Multimeter, Megger, Line tester, Continuity tester.
• Basic knowledge or ability to understand ESD & EHS requirement at work place.
• Maintain 5S in shop floor.

• Ensure production timelines are met and take initiative in multi-tasking activities.
• Ensure minimum re-work by following the engineering drawing or work instructions.
• Should have control on the WIP material.
• Should participate in Gemba Walk actively.

Minimum Qualifications:

BE Production / Mechanical or equivalent

A minimum of 6 to 8 years’ experience in Production.

• Experience in panel building or any electronic equipment integration unit.
• Should be a team player & should have experience in handling a team of 3 to 4 workmen.
• Should be able to write in Hindi / Marathi

Other Job Requirements:

• Strong commitment to collaboration and team work as to work closely with Engineering, sourcing and quality .
• Collaboration skills – Able to effectively collaborate with peers in other functions and at workplace.
• Participate in improvement projects in shop floor
• Maintain a clean shop floor / work space by eliminating waste.
• Basic Computer working. (Advantage)
