Qualification

Graduate or Post-graduate in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering (Good to have)Domain

Design Support Primary Skill

Pro E (2D, 3D, Piping), PLM (Team centre), Vismockup, DVA, GD&T, 8D, MS office..

Design of brake system & components.
Design proposal, 3D modeling, 2D drawings & aggregate packaging in ProE (PTC) Creo with exposure to GD&T.
Release activity in PLM
Making of 3D model of the piping in the Pro/Piping software of Pro/E.
To submit the 2D drawings for the pipes & complete assembly of pipe bunch ready with D ML release after TML Design Managers.
To submit the Clamping drawing & Information figment drawing of the pipe bunch with clamp details keeping in view including clamp fasteners on the chassis
Design optimization and validation through interaction with the CAE team.
BOM Preparation and complete design group release in PLM with adherence to the timeline
DMU review with the other design groups, vehicle integration & production teams, and resolution of issues
Coordination for prototype build and support for Vehicle testing.
Regular coordination with production, vehicle integration, service, and supplier team for production issue resolution.
Coordination with other design groups, Vehicle integration & other stakeholders for the finalization of the design.
Resolution of design, packaging, and other issues before release.
Interact with suppliers for component development/ Supplier drawing release.
Completion of DFM EA, DFM, DFA, and DFS signoff for designs

Knowledge of the release process in PLM.
Knowledge of brake systems or Automobile chassis components their application with exposure to design guidelines and calculations.
Should be ready to work in Shifts
Well-versed with the mechanical design of components & knowledge of brake system
Working experience in Pro /E (preferred), and PLM (preferred) of 2 to 5 years.
