  • The selected consultant will be required to support for
  • Feasibility Study of received parts Drawings from manufacturing point & feedback to Designer accordingly
  • Planning of Parts Requirements for Proto Build / Testing through Purchase / In house
  • Attending DMU Reviews of Proto Build & feedback to the Designer
  • Co-ordination with various Stakeholders for on-time delivery of Proto & parts to respective Testing Agencies Project / Parts Tracking & communication to Seniors on any delays/shortfalls to meet the Project timeline
  • Effective utilization of Finish Parts StoresPreferred Skills & Knowledge â Basic Vehi cle Knowledge of Assembly Process
  • Knowledge of Various Manufacturing Processes
  • Basic Knowledge of PLM System
  • Basic Knowledge of Drawings reading, GD &T SAP knowledge related to Material function, Commercial knowledge related to taxes & related procedures

  • Bachelors / Masters in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ Year Experience in EV cooling system support

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • CAD & Drawing preparation (components, pipe & hoses drawing, and IFD) for traction cooling system
  • Design of support brackets for traction cooling system/ fuel cell cooling system
  • CAD DMU preparation and review for traction cooling system/ fuel cell cooling system
  • Piping and layout routing for traction cooling system/ fuel cell cooling system
  • DFM, DFS, DFA, and DFMEA document generations & release in PLM
  • Part Number creation in PLM system and release of Traction cooling system submodule in PLM
  • Participation DMU discussion, 4D documentation discussion.
  • Participation in proto-build activity & production support
  • Field issue resolutions for TCS /FCEV system.
  • Add on knowledge on Vector CAN Tool will be beneficial
  • Able to review and understand FEA report /CFD  report /NVH report
  • FI & RFQ preparation for TCS components
  • Self-motivated & able to take decisions its own on DMU issues
  • Should have good Presentation and Communication skills.
  • Should have excellent people management and conflict management skills.
  • Should be self-disciplined, motivated, and punctual to work and job assigned.
  • Knows basic selection criteria for aggregate selection, can make concept layouts, can prepare RFQ with the mentor, can prepare requirement checklist with mentor guidance, and handle release process, basic knowledge in electrical/mechanical/thermal areas.
  • Preferred to have: Knowledge on traction cooling system/ fuel cell cooling system EV powertrain aggregates, Electric vehicle

The selected consultant will be required to support for:

  • To support in conducting idea generation for Contribution Improvement Plan.
  • To Work towards the syndication of responses (Both Internal with ERC & then external – Purchase/ QA/ Service/ Mktg / Manufacturing etc
  • To contribute in CV Improvement Plan a Product Reconfiguration and Other Related Levers Support

Action Plan:

  • To generate idea workshops through Benchmarking, Tear down Exercises, system level Workshops, and Part level workshops.
  • To support in conducting the aggregate level workshop and idea generation, initial feasibility analysis, and idea clean-up to come up with the set of ideas.
  • To find out aggregate level ideas on integration, replacement, and elimination possibility.
  • To capture and syndicate ideas by Online Tracking system with saving per vehicle.
  • To conduct part-level workshops keeping the focus on part-level optimization without disturbing systems integration and working principles.
  • To support in identification of part-level ideas following the principle of elimination, reduction, material change, and alternate supply of parts.
  • To support in preparing data of agreed upon part level ideas with cost-saving numbers and timeline of possible implementation Responsible for Accrual target completion
  • Preferred Skills & Knowledge: Able to identify vehicle level, system level, and part level components
  • Good in Planning, Collaboration, Communication, and Presentation skills,
  • Good skills required in Microsoft Excel
  • Good skill required in Microsoft presentation
