Job Description & Responsibility –
- Carry out 3D modeling, 2D drawings, and assembly in PTC Creo/Catia
- DMU management & integrating automotive systems
- Good knowledge of automotive systems
- Knowledge of DFMEA & root cause analysis
- Conceptualise & work out detail designs
- Conduct design reviews & co-ordination with CFT
- Vehicle Performance Calculations
- Project documentation & preparation for management reviews
- Involve in benchmark studies# Prepare vehicle technical specs & offer drawings
- Prepare vehicle layouts
- Technical documentation
- Co-ordination for prototype build and support
- Workout value engineering proposals
- Interact with suppliers for component development
- Prepare project time plans
The selected consultant will be required to support for:
- To be responsible for one project in the EV platform and will coordinate all the engineering deliverables to meet the QCD target.
- To help in the Vehicle Assembly, integration, development, and Analysis activities.
- To be custodian of the Engg product development process and to ensure all gate deliverables are met.
- To be responsible for electric Veh DMU finalization and packaging activities meeting the VLO and other established guidelines.
- To co-ordinate activities with teams to ensure that the DMU is updated.
- To deal with FMQ, m fg. and service to resolve digital simulation issues and ensure DFM, DFA, DFS
- To work with proto and Eng. quality while building to ensure quality of build and resolve issues reported.
- To plan & support the Issue resolution.
Preferred Skills & Knowledge –
- Must have Experience in CAD platforms especially Catia/Creo and exposure to PLM is needed.
- Exposure to any Electric vehicle platform/Vehicle Integration and to have design and development experience.
- To have worked on the design release process.
- Good at communication and coordination.
- Good at issue tracking and follow-up for closure.
Exp in Automotive OEM SCV/LCV/ICV/HCV/BUSSES
Education – B. E, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Experience -1 to 6 years
