Diploma/ B.E.: Mechanical Engineering/ Automobile Engineering/ Instrumentation Engineering

Primary Skill

Good driving skill (Passenger vehicles), Good communication & networking skill

Relevant Experience

2 to 5 years in vehicle testing domain

Job Description

The selected consultant will be required to support for:

To support the preparation of vehicles for different tests as per standard work instructions or work guidelines & vehicle build cards.
To liaison with different agencies to get parts updated for tests, vehicle preparation for testing, and shipment of vehicles & parts to test locations (e.g. NATRAX/ Wabco, etc.)
To conduct vehicle instrumentation
To conduct objective measurements for different attribute tests as per standards/ work guidelines in:1.Ride test 2.Steering test 3.Handling test 4.Brake test
To conduct Tests for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS)
Off-Road Capability tests – To measure vehicle architecture such as approach, departure, ramp over angle & ground clearance, articulation, etc.
To perform Data post-processing & presenting the results.

Preferred to have:

Knowledge of instrumentation

Must have:

Basic vehicle dynamics, Basics of brake systems ABS, ESP, Basics of ADAS technologies

Note – Position requires traveling at different test locations across India.
