Job description
- Ensure equipment availability – time & condition-based maintenance
- Troubleshooting & root cause analysis – learning from failure
- Initiate /implement improvement initiatives and departmental projects
- Comply with applicable safety standards and regulatory requirements
- Maintain effective meaningful interface with internal and external interested parties, and regulatory authorities.
- Resource utilisation & optimisation – loss & wastage reduction
- Inventory management – just-in-time spares management.
- Effective planning, execution, and review for maintenance activities in coordination with all stakeholders- shutdown planning & review
- Adherence to maintenance budget – normal & special budget compliance
- Ensure efficient & reliable plant performance leveraging technical advancement in maintenance – partnering with expert specialised group and Contract management
Skills
- Knowledge & skill of power plant Equipment including its auxiliaries and related maintenance
- Knowledge of safety standards and various legal requirements related to Power plant maintenance including Indian Boiler regulation
- Competency in using common computer software and TQM tools/practices
Other details
- Degree in Mechanical / Production / Industrial / Power Plant Engineering. A person with BOE certification will get a preference
- Experience in operation & maintenance of Coal fired or Gas fired or Waste Heat Recovery Power plant processes/equipment
