Your new role – challenging and future-oriented

• Overall responsibility for the building design service scope for a Substation project.
• Core HVAC design including Heat Load Calculation, Ventilation calculations, equipment selection, HVAC components, Duct work Calculations
• Complete responsibility to design and develop HVAC/Fire detection/ Plumbing Design and layouts & interdisciplinary coordination that mainly includes:
• Knowledge of Heating ventilation and air conditioning system (HVAC)/Firefighting and detection/ Plumbing system and a successful track record of delivering detailed designs to the highest international standards.
• International projects experience & exposure of Standards ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA etc.
• Prepare system concepts, descriptions, P&IDs, technical data sheets, technical specifications etc.
• Performing design calculations (Heat load, cooling load, natural ventilations, duct size and pressure drop calculation etc) and Equipment selections
• Layouts and section drawings preparation (2D & 3D) for proposal & real projects based on customer specification.
• Prepare, review, and validate Bill of material for tenders and real projects.
• Performing engineering evaluations, feasibility studies, conceptual and final design, and engineering calculations.
• Evaluating design drawings and calculations for HVAC, plumbing components, piping and mechanical systems to satisfy target requirements throughout the design process and contribute to content and direction.
• Technical data sheets verification of primary equipment. Knowledge of HVAC equipment, such as Package Ac units, ducting, grills, Sound attenuators, electrical and control system, Firefighting and detection system, drainage system etc.
• Providing optimized and customized solutions for various substation and apply creativity wherever required for continuous project development.
• Planning of inter-disciplinary meeting with internal as well external customer as required.
• Vendor Offer Evaluations. FAT / SAT of primary equipment, system as and when needed.
• Technical risk and opportunity assessment and validation
• Take part in customer meetings / site visits for tender/project clarifications
• Estimation of engineering effort for each project development and continuously innovate ideas to reduce Engineering effort with quality.

We don’t need superheroes, just super minds

• Graduate or Post Graduate in Mechanical Engineering with experience of min. 3-8 Years of experience in HVAC design for AC/HVDC substations.
• Possess good communication, interpersonal skills and willing to work in inter disciplinary teams.
• Possess Good knowledge of Substation Primary and Secondary design interfaces.
• Hands on experience in Autodesk tools- Inventor, Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, E3D, PDMS.
