Position Your new role – challenging and future-oriented
You are in charge of creating the component detail designs for the turbo compressor. Utilizing Siemens NX, Teamcenter, and SAP, the position entails handling engineering data such as models, drawings, and BOMs. This position encompasses knowledge and expertise in all areas of turbo machines rather than just a single set of skills related to turbo compressors.
The tough technical environment will be headquartered in Pune, India, for the post. The counterpart must be carefully coordinated with, and project KPIs including quality, budget, and delivery date must be regularly monitored.
Responsibilities:
- Knowing the project’s requirements and working well with the global team
- Identify and resolve project deviations and difficulties in conjunction with the manager
- utilising Siemens internal standards and many appropriate international codes and standards to interpret
- use this information to design compressor components in detail
- utilising Teamcenter with Siemens NX to create precise models and drawings
- Using Siemens NX, Teamcenter, and SAP to manage engineering Bill of Materials
- Conducting detailed self- and peer-reviews, taking part in and organising design reviews
- giving coworkers technological support
- Make sure engineering documentation is delivered in a quality and timely manner.
- Using JIRA, manage project activity, timeline, and budget.
- Troubleshooting, failure analysis, root cause analysis, and action implementation
- Taking steps to increase one’s own and process efficiency
- Living core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, And Experience:
- mechanical engineering bachelor’s degree or a degree of a similar kind
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience working in engineering
- a good deal of practical expertise with Teamcenter and Siemens NX
- Knowledge of how to create detailed manufacturing drawings utilising GD&T in accordance with ASME Y 14.5
- Excellent team player to aid and support the international team
- being able to operate alone with clarity regarding duty and scope
- the ability to manage deadlines and numerous projects
- quite adaptable to take on new duties and responsibilities
- proactive and focused on solutions. ability to communicate with interface partners and pull inputs
- Knowledge of turbomachinery and its parts will be advantageous.
