The Role

• To serve as the primary communication channel between the Atlas Copco Customer Centers and the End Customer, Consultant, Licensor, Factory, and Supplier. He or she will serve as the end user’s sole point of contact.
• He or she will be the single point of contact for the project, responsible for ensuring timely delivery of deliverables that will enable the project to be successfully completed
• Managing orders and ensuring client satisfaction with regard to delivery and technical needs
• To keep track of the overall progress of projects in relation to the timeline and reporting milestones, as well as to give management an early warning of any potential slippage.
• To regularly update management on the key elements of project execution.
• Keep accurate project records, pertinent documents, and project management system software.
• to create project documentation in accordance with the VDRL, monitor documentation, and guarantee that the documentation cycle is completed on time.
• Check on the manufacturing status with the plant and the supplier. Give the client a copy of the monthly progress status in AC/customer format.
• ensuring that deviations and claims received from consumers and factories are properly reviewed and handled.
• to assess sub-vendor proposals and choose the best vendor.
• To guarantee that the project is completed without a hitch, travel as needed to the customer’s or subvendor’s sites.
• Throughout all project phases, take the initiative, organise, and coordinate the task that has been allocated.
• to oversee the finances, purchases, and deadlines for multiple projects.
• Provide manufacturer and supplier with authorised documentation and a manufacturing schedule based on the market conditions, inventory, and time frame.
• Whenever necessary, provide corrective measures to ensure that the job is completed by the agreed-upon deadline.
• Coordination with the plant, supplier, customer, and TPI for the inspection activities (Third party inspection agency)
• participate in factory and vendor-sponsored site acceptance tests (SAT) and factory acceptance tests (FAT) with customers. In order to dispatch the material, you must get an inspection release notice and provide compliance to the client or inspection agency of any non-conformances.
• Visit the installation site to confirm that the technical documentation/drawings are being followed.

Ensure proper detailed information is exchanged with the aftermarket team and coordinate when required to ensure safe and smooth start-up and commissioning

What do we expect of you?

Educational requirements:

• University degree in Engineering/Technology (Mechanical / Electrical or Instrumentation)
• Fluent in English

Knowledge:

• solid expertise in centrifugal and screw compressors.
• Solid understanding of electrical equipment designs (VFD, Control Panel, Distribution Board, Cabling, etc.), as well as instrumentation and control drawings and documentation (PLC, Field Instruments, UPS, Communications between Equipment and PLC/DCS, I/O list, JB, cable schedules, etc.).
• English must be spoken and written with good command.
• understanding and being able to interpret P&ID, GA, Layouts, Installation, System Architecture, etc.
• working knowledge of MS Office and AutoCAD.
• Strong commercial and technical expertise with engineered rotatory equipment
• able to plan and organise well while maintaining the proper feeling of urgency and working under pressure
• able to work on several projects while giving each one the attention it deserves
• working understanding of the international codes ASME, API, TEMA, IEC, IS, DIN, ATEX, CCOE, and others
• good interpersonal chemistry
• Understanding pressure vessels and heat exchangers is advantageous.
• Being familiar with vacuum pumps is advantageous.
• The ability to use MS Projects is preferred.
