Job description
- Graduate/Post Graduate in Mechanical/Production/Manufacturing Engineering (~Total experience:5-10 years)
- At least 3 years of relevant experience(e.g. Turbomachinery or Heavy Machinery) with specialization in welding
- Designing wind turbine components to meet the design requirements such as functionality, robustness, cost-effectiveness, etc.,
- Design for manufacturing, assembly, and service requirements
- Good working knowledge of manufacturing methods employed for welded assemblies
- Strong welding process skills, He must provide solutions to the best manufacturing methods for manufacturing failure and new design.
- “Working knowledge of materials, weldability and NDE methods”
- Analyzing engineering designs for welding requirements
- Conducting failure analyses and cause analyses on welding issues
- Reviewing welding procedures, processes, and documentation.
- Working Knowledge in NX and TC
- 60% in Design Expand 40% in manufacturing Exp are Mandatory
- Monitors solution performance in the prototyping, test, and verification phase.
- Manages the commissioning phase with the customers, and analyzes potential malfunctions.
- Implement approved concepts.
- Ensures observance of specifications, under consideration of market and technology trends.
- Creates respective reports.
