Educational Qualification & Years of Relevant Experience:

3-4 years of experience post B.E in Mechanical Engineering or 7-8 years of experience post Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Drive EHS culture to achieve Zero Harm through proactive measures.
Implementation & monitoring of Management systems according to International standards ( ISO 14001 & ISO 45001).
Identify potential risks & suggest training measures.
Implementation of EHS policy, guidelines, procedures & Compliance to legal requirements, etc.
Prioritize and conduct periodic EHS review meetings with the Operation Head, Department heads, etc.
Plan and conduct factory EHS assessment along with Opco Head and Country EHS to initiate corrective actions promptly.
Selection, evaluation & Performance monitoring of contractors of all projects including a system of penalties and incentives.
Identify near misses, unsafe acts & unsafe conditions and ensure corrective/preventive actions. Review & analyze UA/UC & follow up on compliance.
Incident/Accident reporting and communication, investigation, analysis & recommendation of corrective/preventive actions.
Periodical reviewing of Emergency preparedness plan & carrying out mock drills. Coordination with internal & external partners on the EHS topic.
Ensure compliance with statutory EHS related requirements.
Coordinate with Plant Head & Opco EHS Head including Health management on Specific EHS tasks assigned.

BE/Dip. (Electrical/Mechanical)
Advanced Diploma in Industrial safety approved by State technical education.
8-10 yrs of relevant experience
Certified Lead/Internal Auditor of ISO 14001 & ISO 45001
Knowledge of Legal & applicable statutory requirements of EMS & Health & Safety.
Knowing of Bengali language is a must.

Perform mechanical design, development, and analysis of the tank and externals of transformers and shunt reactors and its sub-assemblies & components
Use 2D and 3D software to model designs and individual parts to support the generation of engineering drawings and bills of material
Learn transformer design rules and use of transformer design calculation tools for engineering calculation and design creation
Collaborate on R&D projects for further product improvements
Effectively communicate among engineering departments of multiple global sites

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in mechanical engineering preferred, other engineering degrees can be considered with applicable experience in mechanical design.
You’ve 10-14 years of working experience as a design engineer (or related roles)
You’ve phenomenal verbal and written communication skills.
Self-motivated to produce high-quality results within the time allocated, with limited supervision
Advanced user of 3D CAD software (eg. CREO/PROe/Inventor/UG), PDM Link/Teamcenter, 2D CAD (eg. AUTOCAD), and software tools to create Bill of materials like SAP and CADIM
Able to perform mechanical simulations like structural, seismic, CFD (eg. using ANSYS)
Proficiency in mathematical calculation tools like MathCAD and office tools like MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS SharePoint, etc.
Experience of working in a design center providing engineering services to global clients is an added advantage

Use 2D and 3D software to model designs and individual parts to support the generation of engineering drawings and bills of material.
Collaborate on R&D projects for further product improvements
Efficient communication among engineering departments of multiple global sites

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree, mechanical or electrical engineering preferred, other engineering degrees will be considered with applicable experience in mechanical design.
10-14 years of working experience as a transformer internal connection design engineer (or related roles)
In-depth knowledge and experience of preparation of internal layout, electrical clearances, magnetic distances, routing of leads inside the tank, design of supports, coordinating lead exits with winding assembly
Able to apply electrostatic/dielectric design concepts for high voltage leads and electromagnetic concepts for high current leads
Knowledge of components used in internal connections like cables, bus-bars, HV lead exits, terminals, insulation supports, insulation papers, bushings, tap changers, etc.
Basic knowledge of special processes like crimping and brazing
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Self-motivated to produce high-quality results within the time allocated, with limited supervision
Advanced user of 3D CAD software (eg. CREO/PROe/Inventor/UG), PDM Link/Teamcentre, 2D CAD (eg. AUTOCAD), advanced dielectric (high voltage) FEM simulations (eg. ELECTRO, CST Studio, Infolytica) and electromagnetic FEM simulations (eg. MagNET, FEMM)
Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Adobe Acrobat

PREFERRED SKILLS:

Experience in the Power industry with voltage regulator/transformer products, low/medium/high voltage products, or electrical substations.
Experience with SAP
Strong understanding of working in Global engineering center or equivalent
