We are looking for a Design Engineer for our team.

Mission

• Development and growth of the Project execution, with a perspective of ‘first time right’.
• Utilize lthe ocal Pro-Engineer station as well as the intra-links.
• Generate most suitable, Ergonomic, rigid, and cost-effective concepts and designs for customized systems/solutions
• Develop first-time fix concept with the best manufacturing techniques, andthe most compact, simple construction.

Job Description

• Design and development of tightening solutions with fixture/hand held/customized solutions as per the Desoutter global standard.
• Communicate constantly with Sales / Service / Regional project engineers to understand their needs and respond with output in desired time frame with highest standards of quality in Design
• Should work closely with the sales and service teams and should have healthy communication for better customer satisfaction throughout the project execution cycle.
• Participate in technical discussions with customer / Sales team in case of identified requirements
• Should be able to deliver quality project with minimal guidance.
• Conduct regular review on flow of design activities & respond by proper planning.
• Work on DAP drawings, BOM, technical documentation, Specifications.
• Generate and improve quality of assembly and detailed designs related to customized systems/solutions.
• Actively participate in supporting the sourcing function with proper inputs well in time as well as integration activities viz., manufacturing, assembly, trials and proper dispatch.
• Communicate effectively with Electrical counterpart and rest of project team so as to ensure smooth execution.
• Support the integration team during the machine assembly and testing phase.
• Project documentation as per Desoutter global standard.
• Willing to travel to anywhere in India based on project requirements.
• Contribute to control project inventory.
• Contribution to the global DESOUTTER Projects organization regarding mechanical design and best practie

Experience required

• 3 -5 years’ experience in SPM design domain.
• Experience in 3D modelling and drafting in PTC Creo is must.
• Experience in Wind chill PDM – Pro Mechanica is expected.
• Experience in layout drawing preparation using 2D CAD software.
• Good knowledge about engineering materials, processes and well-versed with GD & T.
• Knowledge in any other 3D software is an added advantage.

Degree in Mechanical Engineering
