Job description

JOB PURPOSE

To ensure Manufacturing Operations with safe & defined quality parameters
Job Area: Blender / Extruder / Packaging /QA/ Utility-Silo all area in Production.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follow site EHS norms/standards and demonstrate continual improvement initiatives at his work area.
• Maintain his area clean as per Lean 5S standard and sets an example for others in keeping their area clean.
• Take initiative, be self-directed, and exhibit high motivational levels. To meet manufacturing metrics; assist as required on strategic projects/initiatives and drive kaizen implementation/process – quality improvement at the work area. Take an interest in solving problems.
• Willingly help others beyond his work area.
• Grasp fast and go into details of work initiated/assigned. Seek answers for the unknown from colleagues.
• Discipline in behavior & responsible to follow standards at work area assumes responsibility for own mistakes and making corrections.
• See change as a tool for improvement. Demonstrate flexibility and self-motivation to meet functional requirements.
• Filling of logbooks and respective area documentation with detailed downtime, corrective action, COT time, and lot data sheet with accountability & effective communication to next shifts.

MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 3 years experience
• Computer literacy
• Good knowledge about Mfg. Process & equipments
• Knowledge – Plastics compounding Manufacturing related Process & Procedure
• Skills – Safety orientation and appreciation of safety systems. Plan & implement activities relating to his area.
• Abilities – Understand, follow & implement SOPs and EHS norms. Take initiative & sustain improvements
