Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new silica sand sources.
- Extensively running around mines .for direct sourcing of silica from Gudur and Neyvelli area to be worked out in coming years
- Develop new vendors for Quartz, Dolomite, flyash and other cementitious products
- Develop local sustainable vendors for packaging. Once Chennai scales up ideally we need to have close by vendor base
- support in getting epoxy, PU, flooring RM samples for new products etc
- Support plant level contracting / service jobs (fabrication, electrical, instrumentation) vendor follow ups etc.
- Market feedback and inputs on new miners, competition sourcing details, benchmarking cost etc
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualification:
- Degree / Diploma Graduate in Mechanical / Electrical (Raw Materials / MRO Procurement Experience ~3-4 years) or Commerce graduate with Techno-Commercial acumen (Raw Materials / MRO Procurement Experience ~5-6 years)
Preferred Industry:
- Candidate from competition or RMC industry will be added advantage.
- Language proficiency in English, Tamil and Telugu will be required for this position.
