Position – Senior Engineer

Location – Bengaluru, Karnataka

This individual will be doing Functional/System testing of Mobile/Cloud/Big Data applications/products.

Should have a good understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC/STLC process
Work within the scrum team to build the quality product along with the development team
Understand end-user deployment and contribute to requirements and design reviews
Understand Acceptance Criteria and test cases for stories and verifying the product against acceptance criteria
Should have hands-on experience in developing automation scripts
Develops automation test scripts for stories during the development & executes them to reduce cycle time and improve quality
Monitor release quality criteria and present unbiased product quality view to enable the quality release of a product
Should have an understanding of Cloud/Mobile/Big Data testing & best practices

Diploma or Bachelor or Master of Engineering in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, Instrumentation or Mechanical
Minimum of 6-9 years’ experience
Exposure to Acceptance Test-Driven development
Should have hands-on experience in developing automation scripts
Product-based Mobile/Cloud/Big Data application testing will be an added advantage
Knowledge of Web Application Fundamentals (HTTP, HTTPS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX) will be an added advantage.
Experience in test automation tools.
Good knowledge of Microsoft OS & Databases.
Experience in testing of Security & Comfort products will be an added advantage
Should have exposure to test management, defect tracking, performance test tools.

Good analytical thinking, troubleshooting & problem-solving skills, coupled with the drive to learn
Good communication skills, both verbal and written
Self-motivated and the ability to work independently without supervision and sometimes under extreme pressure
Prepared to work overtime as per project or business needs prepared to travel domestic or overseas as needed
Ability to work together with different functional & delivery teams
Demonstrates Influencing skills to articulate independent Product Quality view
The right level of Negotiation skills & conflict management capability
