Job description

Job Responsibilities :

• Provide main application engineering interface to customers
• Adhere to project plans, timelines, deliverables and quality plans
• Develop new technical innovations and cost-effective & creative solutions to complex engineering and design problems
• Work in conjunction with designers, engineers and fabrication resources using materials science, design & engineering skills, and process knowledge to meet or exceed customer expectations
• Build & utilize finite element models for complex structural components and use finite element analysis (FEA), optimization, and statistical tools to guide the design
• Provide subject matter expertise in an area of engineering design and/or analysis
• Recognize what type of engineering material data is required to perform engineering analyses, & be familiar with analysis solver material models, understanding capabilities, limitations and applicability
• Properly document all technical learnings internally
• Secure intellectual property including invention disclosures, case filings, and office actions
• Consistently and proactively engage in value generating six-sigma projects
• Interface with other PARC / core R&D personnel to promote continuous improvement of engineering disciplines, communication and teamwork
• Define technology gaps & develop improvement roadmaps

Education Requirement :

• B.E. / B.Tech + M.Tech – Mechanical engineering. Doctoral degree preferred

Experience Requirement :

2 to 10 years of relevant experience
