Job description
Design Engineer Associate position in Turbo coupling team at Pune.
This position is responsible for providing tactical support to design basic new components or products and improve existing components or products. The person will contribute to provide design support for orders/quotes as well as projects for the Rotating business. The position will be on Trainee period for 1 Year.
Responsibilities:
- Assists with designs or improves basic components and products with a satisfactory understanding of design tools and analysis methods.
- Assists in solving basic design problems with a strong aptitude for problem solving skills.
- Support various 2D AutoCAD projects with mass drawing updates
- Execute orders/offers for Couplings using 2D AutoCAD tool.
- Follow Regal Rexnord’s Ethics and Safety Programs.
- Perform other assignments per business need.
Qualifications and Job Requirements:
- BE Mechanical/Production Engineering from a reputed college.
- 1 to 2 yrs. experience in rotating product design using CAD practices.
- Rotating equipment design experience such as gearboxes, pumps, couplings, turbine… (Coupling preferred)
- Hands on experience in CAD software, AutoCAD experience is must. (SolidWorks/Creo/Solid Edge/AutoCAD )
- Knowledge of GD&T, drafting standards and International material standards is must.
- Experience with industry standards such as DIN, AGMA, API, ANSI…. (preferred)
Ability to review and interpret technical drawings and specifications
