Job description
Primary Role
- Hands on Experience to extract the repair changes, create repair process instructions and inspection planning & procedures on Industrial Centrifugal & Geared Compressor MRO OEM Manuals,
- Co-ordinate with customer to get approval on repair process instructions, inspection planning & procedures,
- Work with offshore team to guide, execute, review of deliverables and deliver to customer
- Develop the Best Practices on repair process instructions, inspection planning & procedures especially on Industrial Centrifugal & Geared Compressors
- Able to interpret, develop repair concepts, create detail design, 3D Modelling and Creation of Manufacturing Drawings in UG Nx,
- Quality check of deliverables with First Time Right and On Time Delivery
- Should have repair execution knowledge on Centrifugal & Geared Compressors with Oil & Gas, Chemical, Power, etc., industry domains,
- Defect analysis and continuous improvement on repair processes, inspection planning & procedures,
Technical Responsibilities
- Strong reading & ability to interpret various compressor MRO OEM Manuals
- Strong manufacturing engineering capabilities on Centrifugal and Geared Compressors, etc.,
- Strong knowledge on testing of various compressors, performance analysis and report creation
- Strong knowledge on GD & T
- Good knowledge on various compressor materials & recommendations
- Good knowledge on analytical skills, power plants, engineering, and aerodynamics, etc.,
- Good knowledge of various machines tools & manufacturing processes,
- Good knowledge on coating process, heat treatment, NDT operations and inspections,
- Expertise in UG Nx, and other CAD packages,
- Knowledge on tooling and fixtures will be added advantage,
- Knowledge on digital automation of repair prediction, maintenance, processes, etc.,
- Awareness on ISO, Compressor and heavy engineering standards,
- Awareness on various compressors, components and assemblies,
- Awareness on heavy engineering quality requirements,
- Awareness on design of compressors, components and assemblies is an advantage
Team Management Activities
- Able to manage the team technically, Guide, Train and Evaluation
- Efforts Estimation, Manpower Planning, Co-ordination with onsite and plan the future work load.
Qualification: BE/B Tech
