Job description
Role summary:
Candidate should be able to work independently and develop work instruction and review work of peers who should have minimum of 5 years authoring & illustration experience for Rail related domain.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Authoring/illustration of Manuals, User documentation files.
- Authoring/illustration parts catalogue (IPC)
- Prepare the Service Bulletins (SB’s)
- Prepare work instruction & delivery checklist
- Able to read and understand the engineering drawing
- Learn, understand, and apply our customer’s standard procedures
- Assist in identifying opportunities for improvement and take ownership for implementation
- Support quality management & continual improvement projects
Required Skills (Technical Competency):
- Tools & Standards:
- Knowledge of Frame maker, SGML, InDesign, MS-Office, Tech illustrator
- Knowledge of standards – ATA iSpec 2200, ASD STE, s1000D
- Strong communication, inter-personal skills required
- Able to work in a fast-paced, learning environment, meeting quick deadlines
