Your technical skills will help us keep our plants, utility systems, buildings and equipment up and running. Pfizer will rely on you for maintenance, redesign, repair of utilities in our plants. In your role, you will undertake the necessary preventive and corrective steps for setting priorities, forecasting and allocating resources for the maintenance tasks.

How You Will Achieve It
  • Contribute to the completion of project milestones and organize own work to meet project task deadlines.
  • Support Engineering team in planning and overseeing the preventative maintenance for filling equipment.
  • Manage the status of work control and backlog for work order submission to work order completion.
  • Support maintenance work management and the installation, commissioning, qualification of equipment.
  • Contribute to continuous process improvements initiatives.
  • Provide input to capital project design with respect to equipment selection and specifications that create project approaches which minimize life cycle costs.
  • Follow up and communicates schedule to all resources, i.e. maintenance, production, outside services, stores and engineering.
  • Responsible for pest control management in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (also cGMP) and Pfizer internal requirement.
  • Manage all the utility document and drawings and ensure all of them are sorted and archived properly.
  • Ensure that supporting Good Manufacturing Practices (also cGMP) relevant documentation is generated and maintained.
Qualifications
Must-Have
  • Graduate / Diploma Engineer in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering .
  • Experience :- Should have working experience in a Continuous process industry preferably in a Pharmaceutical Industry .
  • 2 to 4 years of experience for graduates and 3 to 6 years years of experience for diploma holders

Core Competencies :-

  • Knowledge of Installation, Operation and Maintenance of Water Pre-treatment systems, PW generation, storage and distribution systems, De-ionized water systems, WFI generation, storage and distribution systems and Clean steam generation and distribution systems.
  • Detailed knowledge of preventive maintenance schedules/check sheets, SOP’s and various audit procedures .
  • Execute the validation protocols i.e. IQ/OQ/PQ/IOQ/IOPQ as required for new system qualifications.
  • Prepare dosing solutions for Purified water generation system
  • Operation & Maintenance of Purified Water Systems, WFI Systems, Deionized Water Systems and Clean steam systems as per respective procedures and established quality standards.
  • Plan and execute the sanitization activities in coordination with CFTs.
  • Plan and execute preventive maintenance programmers in coordination with CFTs.
  • Raising change controls for any changes related to documentation, equipment etc. and implement the same, as required.
  • Identify the gaps to increase the system efficiency.
  • Coordinate with CFTs to implement any changes resulted due to CAPAs.
  • Timely closure of observations (if any) identified during internal or safety or regulator audits.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of area and the equipment all the time.
  • Prepare and maintain engineering drawings related to clean utilities.
  • Identify the gaps in the procedures and discuss with supervisor to mitigate the gaps.
  • Ensure the readiness of the area for the internal/safety/ regulatory audits, as required.
  • Experience in reliability based maintenance practices
  • Demonstrated ability to write and provide simple and accurate instructions
  • Aseptic manufacturing experience
  • Demonstrated computer and technical skills
  • Effective problem solving capabilities
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and written skills
Nice-to-Have
  • Knowledge or experience working in a Good Manufacturing Practices {also cGMP} environment
  • Biopharma experience
