Job description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Shall work as a Team Member for the delivery team.
- Responsible for the mechanical design of Equipment/SPM/Production line in the manufacturing industry
- Responsible for Project documentation by strict adherence to quality and ISO processes • Responsible for error-free output
- Follow instructions from the Project lead
- Shall understand the requirements of the project and implement value additions in output. • Shall provide information on project status to the team lead.
- Producing necessary design reports and documentation, project status reports, preparing meeting MOM, and publishing the same
- Flexibility to work with different project teams/ software/ type of work etc.
- Shall work as a Key team player providing design concepts from ideation to materialization
Desired Candidate Profile –
- Mechanical Engineer with 0 to 5 years of experience in manufacturing or engineering service industry as a design engineer
- Working experience in Paper. The personal hygiene industry,pulp/converting machine/ SPM industry will be added advantage
- Strong manufacturing engineering background
- Excellent academic background
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent Verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent team player
- Flexibility to work with different project teams/ software/ type of work etc.
- Experience in design and detailed engineering for Special purpose machinery & equipment
- Good understanding of GD&T.
- Should have worked on Pneumatic and hydraulic system sizing and selection
- Hands-on experience in AutoCAD is essential.
- At least one 3D software (SolidWorks/UG/ProE/Inventor) is desirable. Knowledge of other 3D software will be an added advantage
- Experience in customization of ACAD and 3D software will be added advantage
- Should have developed the automation work procedures to optimize the work in a 2D or 3D environment
- Should have worked extensively for modeling and detailing optimization of manufacturing parts and best assembling techniques with customer-provided vault database
- Should have an agile approach to product development
- Knowledge of various manufacturing processes such as metal cutting, welding, die casting, casting, and forging is important. Knowledge of DIN, ANSI, and ISO standards is desirable.
- Hands-on MS office products.
