Position – Energy Efficiency Analyst
Exp. – 2 to 4 Years
Location – Trivandrum
Job Description
- Analyze and validate energy efficiency equations and ensure proper usage
- Assist consulting teams on impact evaluations of utility energy efficiency and demand response programs
- Perform technical and economic analyses; data collection; spreadsheet creation and management
- Assess energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies Collection and input of energy efficiency measure characterizations in proprietary software
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science with an emphasis on analysis, logical reasoning, or problem-solving (e.g., engineering, economics, mathematics, physical sciences, etc.); focus on building science, or mechanical engineering preferred. Experience with HVAC is a plus.
- 2+ years of experience working with energy efficiency or demand-side management
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel (V Lookups, Pivot Tables, Regressions)
- Strong interest in energy efficiency, renewable energy, distributed generation, and advanced technologies
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
- A high degree of self-confidence and determination
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Superior team-oriented, interpersonal skills
- Strong communication skills required, ensuring that users are kept updated on the status
- Highly developed organizational and management skills (e.g., ability to manage multiple time-sensitive priorities without diminished effectiveness)
- Experience in application programming is a plus (e.g., R, Matlab, Analytica, Python, SQL)
- Ability to work overtime hours as needed
