Job description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Primarily responsible for innovative design development, Future technology, Patent generation, Optimization of designs
- Responding to highly complex design inquiries. Ensure that inquiry is fulfilled with optimized design and within target dates. Share inputs with the costing team for further processing of the inquiries.
- Decide on make-or-buy for components by discussing with Costing, Manufacturing, Purchase, and marketing teams for the most optimum method of responding to RFQ
- Responsible for design calculations, DRM release, and assist production related to Engineering – queries
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Industrial Gear Box design i.e Bevel/Helical/Planetary
- Exposure to Gear design calculations using KISSsoft
Education- B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical
