Main Purpose of the Job: To undertake FPS Engineering activities in an engineering consultancy organization for Basic/Detail Engineering.

Key Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Knowledge of Indian Standard Code / NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) Standard FM Global/NBC – related to fire fighting system.
  • Fire Hydrant System Layout/Spray & Sprinkler System Layout/Foam System Layout/Fire Water Pump House Piping layout.
  • Hydraulic Calculation.
  • Preparation of Data Sheet.
  • Preparation of Tender Specification.
  • Reviewing model in Navisworks
  • Review & checking of Vendor drawings.
  • Meeting with Client.

Candidate Specification – Essential Candidate Requirements:

  • BE/BTech Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience in Chemical, Pharma, General Industry, Argo, FMCG projects.
  • Knowledge in PIPNET software.
  • Interpersonal skill / Team work
  • Sound Communication skill
  • Experience in 3D Model review in Navisworks

To undertake Basic/Detail Engineering activities for static equipment like Tank, Pressure Vessel, Heat exchanger, Column, Reactor, etc.

Key Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Mechanical Design Calculation for Static Equipment using PV Elite and Tank Software and also capable to cross check with manual calculations.
  • Preparation of BOQ and Tender specification
  • Review of Engineering Documents and Drawings and Ensuring Quality in Deliverables
  • Review the alignment with other disciplines 3D / 2D deliverables
  • Technical Bid Analysis including discussion with vendors and Technical Recommendations
  • Must be familiar with ASME Sec VIII Div. 1 and 2, TEMA, API 650 and 620, SMPV, IBR and other Indian and International Codes and Standards
  • Review and approval of vendor’s drawing and Documents
  • Inter-discipline co-ordination

Candidate SpecificationEssential Candidate Requirements:

  • Graduate in Mechanical Engineering (BE/BTech)
  • Knowledge in API, ASME, TEMA and other National and International codes for Tanks, Pressure Vessel and Heat Exchangers

  • Preparation of specifications and mechanical datasheets(MDS) for Rotary equipment’s, like API and Non API Pumps, Agitator, etc.
  • Preparation of specifications, MDS and Layout for utility packages like Cooling Tower, Air Compressors, Air Dryers, Boilers, Chilling system, Heating system, Nitrogen generation plant, etc.,
  • Preparation of specifications, MDS and Layout for Material Handling and Conveying Equipment, Filling and Bagging system, different types of conveyors and other package systems.
  • Preparation of specification/layout for pneumatic conveying packages
  • Preparation of specification/layout for different types of warehouses & Racking system.
  • Technical Bid Analysis including discussion with vendors and technical Recommendations.
  • Must be familiar with IS, ISO, IBR, ASME, API & process engineering codes & standard.
  • Review and approval of vendor’s drawing and Documents
  • Reviewing model in Navisworks will be added advantage.
  • Inter-discipline co-ordination
  • Meeting with Client.
