JOB STATEMENT
This position is responsible for Expediting Activities in Fabrication / Forging/ Machining
(Third Party)
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Close follow-up with Vendors to achieve the required OTD.
- Maintaining a Planning Schedule for project shortages
- Coordination with engineering, projects & quality to give timely manufacturing clearances.
- Traveling 70% – 80% in a month.
- Maintaining the load schedule /rating for vendors.
- Good Knowledge in understanding engineering drawings, manufacturing processes and Bills of material.
RELATIONSHIPS & AUTHORITY
- Report to Manager Operational Procurement –
- Close coordination with All internal stakeholders like Finance, Quality, and project teams.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- B.E (Mechanical / Production) with 2-5 years experience in project purchases in a similar industry.
- Good techno-commercial experience.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Good knowledge of taxation & commercials
- Highly motivated individual with good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
- Ability to handle multiple projects at a time with good results.
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Punctual & organized.
- Good Knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools and SAP
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position is situated in an engineering office environment, travel to various vendor locations (70%) required.
