Job description
Job description & responsibility:
- Develop digital repair & maintenance methods (via Work-Step-Table “AST”)
- Research and analysis of engineering CAD data
- Well versed with assembly and disassembly of systems/components
- Evaluate & develop repair concepts in Engineering client (EC)
- Authoring of created repair methods in the NARS database
- Develop know-how of the key aftersales processes in the Daimler workshops (e.g. what does an MB-Technician need?)
- Follow the processes and standards defined for the project, participate in Knowledge sharing sessions and ensure quality deliverables
- Co-ordinate & liaison with cross-functional teams depending on the work scope
- Contribute to continuous improvement in the specified working area
- Knowledge of Mercedes-Benz portfolio is an added advantage
Requisites:
- Knowledge & experience in NX or PLM/ CAD is must
- Good knowledge on overall automotive components/systems and its functioning is must
- Experience in the field of After Sales/technical documentation/ simulation/publication is preferred
- Knowledge of Engineering Change Management system is an advantage
- Exposure in automotive workshop/plant with hands on experience is preferred
- Aptitude to learn/grasp trending topics in the digital world and implement it in the project as applicable
- Strong team player with decent communication one who puts team above self
- Ability to handle multiple work tasks and ensure timely deliverable
- International exposure on projects is desirable
- Knowledge of German language is an added advantage
- Open to travel within India/internationally depending on the project requirement
Qualifications
Qualification:
– BE or Masters – in Mechanical, Tooling, Industrial Production, Machine Design
