Job description
Specific knowledge :
Project requirements:
- Regular checking of the Bill of Material of responsible VAN lines/platforms in PDM (SMARAGD). Decide what parts should be available in various vehicle configurations.
- Participate in all relevant meetings with stakeholders.
- Assignment of the package releases to the respective packages
- Q-Mate error rectification and resolution with respective MG’s.
- Data Management for the VAN lines
- Reference configuration creation and maintenance as required by the packagers.
- Stay tuned to the changes in the Overall Vehicle Design organization and actively lead the assignment of responsibilities of building space components to FVKiP’s
- Provide support to the CAx team for smooth execution of DST by regularly highlighting the issues to PLE and GFI82 Speaker
- Support successful execution of DBBK through sub-activities such as FVKiP reconciliation and Collision Management
- Support Package engineers in the smooth execution of their daily tasks within the Vehicle Integration department
- Build structures for parts like Norm and standard parts and hence improve their documentation
- Actively contribute to the building of agenda and discussions in the GFI 82 round through regular monitoring of SNPs of concerned car lines; be a representative of the OVD department in this cross-functional round.
- Secondary structure creation for Electrical parts in a vehicle and continues interaction with OVD VKiPs and other stakeholders. (Photoshop)
- Be able to perform all functions in OVD as a DMU team member
- DMU Status reports are sent to counterparts as per the agreed frequency & project requirement
