Job description
Job Role :
- Design of Machining Jigs/ Tools for 4C components for Engine Manufacturing (preparation of fixture assembly layouts, BOM, Part drawings)
- Get the above designed Jigs manufactured from suppliers/ in house tool room
- Accuracy prove out of these jigs after mounting in machine
Educational Qualification:
- B.E/B.tech (Mechanical/Industrial/production)
Work Experience: 5 to 8 Years
Job Responsibilities:
- Fixture and Tool Design:- Fixture and Tool design for the machining of 4C engine components (Crank, Cam, Cylinder Head, Cylinder Block & Case Transmission) for mass production.
- Preparation of fixture assembly layouts, BOM, Part drawings
- Design the machining fixtures for MSIL new projects, manufacturing of these fixture, Accuracy prove-out of Jigs after mounting in machine
Competencies / Skills:
Technical/ Functional:
- Should have sufficient work experience in design of hydraulic fixtures of 4C components (4W Automobile) machining applications on Vertical and Horizontal Machining Centers & HMC
- Design to be done on 2D Autocad and 3D Solid works
- He should have exposure of various work handling equipment like Gantry, Robot, Loading manipulators, manual loading
- He should have work experience in fixture Design with reputed machine / fixture supplier of 4W automobile manufacturers
- He should have experience of designing fixtures for reputed make of machines like NTC, Howa, Enshu, Makino, Brother, Sugino etc.
- Should be open to work in Japan if required for advaced training for a period of 6 months to 1 year
- Perform Tool interference check on fixture in design
