Job description

  • Installing new equipment
  • doing regular maintenance
  • resolving equipment issues on the spot is all responsibility of a maintenance engineer.
  • You might also need to teach your personnel how to operate the equipment and eliminate any outdated equipment.
  • You need an in-depth understanding of industrial machinery, the capacity to function effectively under pressure, and the ability to exhibit advanced problem-solving abilities to succeed as a maintenance engineer.
  • The ability to service, troubleshoot, and repair equipment without extending equipment downtime is a quality maintenance engineer’s hallmark.

Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities

  • Inspecting equipment and conducting routine maintenance.
  • Servicing and replacing old or faulty equipment.
  • Troubleshooting equipment malfunctions.
  • Removing old equipment and installing new machines.
  • Proving technical support and training on new equipment.
  • Adhering to all safety and performance regulations.
