Job description

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

1. Perform both static and dynamic simulations and analysis of different systems in-vehicle including the body, exterior, and interior to avoid squeak and rattle and give the customer a solid feeling of the car.
2. Responsible for building the system & vehicle level FE Modelling in Hypermesh required for squeak and Rattle simulation. Typical systems involved are mentioned below;
   a) Cockpit Module b) Closure Assembly c) Full Trimmed vehicle
3. You will propose improvements and drive necessary change together with involved design areas.
4. You have to be involved in all project phases, from Advanced Engineering to vehicle production start, and with field and quality issues, contributing with analysis and guidelines to improve the attributes in our SUVs.
5. Worked on flexible connections modeling know the tricks & techniques.
6. Should be able to handle large complex FE models required for preparing & pre-processing them for simulation.
7. Demonstrate proficiency in analyzing frequency and transient analysis results and systems response at desired locations. Ability to analyze modal analysis results and systems modal behavior both on the Global & local level
8. Responsible for knowledge management and ensuring the capitalization of knowledge, lessons learned collection, and implementation in future projects, training, etc.

Experience

• 2-3 Years as NVH/BSR Simulation Engineer
• Hands-on experience in simulation software like Hyperworks, Nastran, Optistruct, SNRD, etc…
• Prior experience in the NVH & BSR domain and having knowledge of acoustics in CAE related to the sound/vibration/rattle induced by audio speakers is meritorious.
• Matlab and Phyton’s experience is meritorious.
• Script development for automation of the simulation DVPs is meritorious.

Qualifications

(B. Tech/M. Tech) or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
