Job description
Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
- To ensure daily production as per the plan.
- To ensure zero hold-ups at the end of the line with timely resolution of the quality issues.
- Fast and effective communication with the support department for resolution of the issues. i.e. stores, maintenance, Quality, and other aggregates.
- Monitoring and closure of all the IR-related issues on the line with coordination with concerned agencies.
- New model, PPAP, and ER implementation on tractor line with proper documentation i.e. SOP Manifest and OJT.
- To ensure the DWM of respective shifts including all PQCDSM parameters and timely action on the issues.
- To achieve the targets of Akraman i.e. cost saving, OIT, CIT, QC story.
- Timely resolution of the issues related to Stockyard, Gate Audit, DPR, Card RPH, and line stoppage.
- Understanding of requirements related to TS, OHSAS, TPM, and AFSM to face the audits.
- Monitoring and reduction in consumables and stores items used on line.
- Timely closure of line balancing issues with IEE.Actively participate in innovation drive and ensure maximum innovation projects from the department in A+, A, and B categories.
- Training and development of cell members in line with the requirement of the organization

- Tractor assembly / Testing / Tractor product functional Knowledge is essential
- Experience in Quality assurance function in the assembly plant
- Handling overall Product audit and Process audit on the assembly line.
- Analyzing customer complaints, Assembly line rejection, Supplier parts analysis and taking corrective actions, Standardizing all the Quality Procedures.
- Continuous process improvements (KAIZENS) to achieve consistent product quality.
- Implementation of POKA-YOKES to eliminate human error.
- Monitoring and ensuring adherence to processes with SOP/SOS by periodic process audit, Tractor Product Audit / Gate audit – Projection, analysis and close looping.
- Working Knowledge of Tractor PTO testing, IQS.
- Working Knowledge of Tractor CKD / SKD / Containerisation process.
- Responsible for Engineering Change Management Process, Smooth launch of new model / new variants.
- Exposure to Quality management systems like ISO 9001, TS 16949
