Job description
Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
- BOM preparation and maintaining
- Interact with development team and supplier for component development
- Work with support system teams and address the integration related concern
- Resolve vehicle level integration concerns
- Address the manufacturing and build issues with supplier and plant team
- Documentation and presentation preparation for Audit
Experience
3 to 6 Years
Industry Preferred
Automotive, Design and Development in Casting Components, Machine Building
Qualifications
BE or ME
General Requirements
- A clear understanding of the internal combustion engine and its sub systems
- Good experience of 3D CAD software like CATIA(preferred) or UG NX
- Adequate knowledge in CAE and CFD related to internal combustion engine
- Adequate Knowledge in DFMEA, DFC, DFM and DFS
- Knowledge on Component design and development
- Knowledge in detailing, tolerance stack up and GD&T
- Knowledge on casting and machining process
