  • Lead the new product development projects for complete drive train as per requirement.
  • Thorough knowledge on integration and configuration of systems and subsystems, knowledge on electrical system architecture will be an added advantage.
  • Coordinating with various internal groups like Homologation, CAE, Proto-shop & in- house testing to ensure completion of physical verification and DVP. Also develop test procedures and test cases for testing of powertrain.
  • Derive the subsystem requirement based on vehicle/kit requirement.
  • Managing the sub-system layout and package, thorough knowledge on space claim and BOM management. Vehicle packaging experience will be an added advantage.
  • Conducting technical feasibility study of requirement provided on various design phase and evaluate the same.
  • Proficiency in vehicle mount design and knowledge on assessment of load distribution will be an added advantage.
  • Proficiency and drive DFMEA for system & sub system.
  • Driving the stage wise BOM release, mule testing and prototype build preparation
  • High proficiency in Catia and knowledge on casting and sheet metal process.
  • High proficiency in Teamcenter, PLM and NPD process.

  • MIS for Management reviews on parts development status, monthly targets, adherence, work distribution and key concerns.
  • Process strengthening through creation of Templates and IT enabled portal to improve adherence/productivity.
  • Input to sourcing team through STAP File (Sourcing time adherence plan) for new parts released by RandD/ME for Tractors/Engines. Internal reviews with CDMM team wrt project milestones. Taking CDMM team on board for volume requirements and Availability of Capex.
  • Identifying key concerns in advance for resolution/timely execution for projects/variants/feature addition.
  • Periodic reviews on parts availability/open points between CDMM and PMO-RandD team Weekly meetings/product councils. Alignment on synergy projects with respective PMOs in FD.
  • Monitoring life cycle from DR stage to part hand over to SCM as well as Implementation. Risk identification and timely escalation to management within sourcing.
  • Alignment on specific requirement in relation to M-Dristi, Audits and Capability building. Lead role in execution of CRE VAVE through interaction with RandD/PPC/Mfg/Marketing/QA/NPD and within Sourcing-CDMM as well as Supply Chain.
  • Monthly update on CRE Projects, PTP/Saving and decision points with CEO’s Office/SEC Team.
  • CRE Dash board (live) with details on projects under execution, plan Vs Actual and timelines. MIS (CRE) for management review on parts development status, monthly targets, adherence and key concerns.
  • Periodic reviews with Mfg/Mktg/Customer care on Ideas generation initiatives. Process strengthening (IT enabled) on project monitoring and evaluation of PTP/Savings.
  • Periodic alignment on parts availability status/bottlenecks between CRE Sourcing Chions. Evaluation of month wise Saving as well as PTP.
  • Initiatives on Ideas generation through CRE Melas, Brainstorming sessions, Teams meeting by involving Mfg/Mktg and other departmetns from all SD plants.
  • Capex to CRE team through FD-Capex team. Parts monitoring with CDMM and Supply chain team for all ECNs.
  • Sign off between CDMM/Supply chain/SEL team for implementations.
  • Alignment with RandD/PPC/NPD/QA/ME/Mfg team for parts availability/assembly line trials/implementations

Experience

  • Knowledge of Sheet Metal mnf. & Joinary Process e.g Blanking, Forming, Draw, Trimmings, Mig Welding, Tig Welding, Spot Welding, Seam Welding, Brazing Etc.
  • Knowledge of other mnf. Processes e.g Forging, Casting, Machining & Injection Molding will be added advantage.
