Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
  1. Planning, execution, analysis and reporting of complete vehicle tests wrt Functional, Performance and Durability degradation.
  2. Periodic Measurements, analysis and life prediction of vehicle systems
  3. Regular vehicle inspection and check-up (Static and dynamic) to find out failures on the vehicles.
  4. Failures diagnosis and route cause analysis.
  5. Timely and structured reporting of vehicle failures during test with possible root cause and tracking for closure.
  6. Time Plan and optimal resources utilization for testing.
  7. Support to develop test cases, routes etc with respect to customer usage profile, field failures etc.
  8. Support for review / updation of test procedures / SOPs for testing.

  • Lead the new product development projects for complete drive train as per requirement.
  • Thorough knowledge on integration and configuration of systems and subsystems, knowledge on electrical system architecture will be an added advantage.
  • Coordinating with various internal groups like Homologation, CAE, Proto-shop & in- house testing to ensure completion of physical verification and DVP. Also develop test procedures and test cases for testing of powertrain.
  • Derive the subsystem requirement based on vehicle/kit requirement.
  • Managing the sub-system layout and package, thorough knowledge on space claim and BOM management. Vehicle packaging experience will be an added advantage.
  • Conducting technical feasibility study of requirement provided on various design phase and evaluate the same.
  • Proficiency in vehicle mount design and knowledge on assessment of load distribution will be an added advantage.
  • Proficiency and drive DFMEA for system & sub system.
  • Knowledge on automotive standards pertaining to electric power train.
  • Driving the stage wise BOM release, mule testing and prototype build preparation
  • High proficiency in Catia and knowledge on casting and sheet metal process.
  • High proficiency in Teamcenter, PLM and NPD process.

Experience – 7 to 9 YRS (Industry: Minimum 4 to 5 years of experience).
