  • The scope of the role is to assist the team, provide quality deliverables in alignment with the organisational policies. Responsibilities include understanding the project scope, upgrading technical skills, knowledge of tools and procedures related to the project and adherence to quality standards

Principal Accountabilities (A)
Technical Management

Tool/Engineering design – awareness and knowledge

  • Responsible to acquire/update technical knowledge through trainings on the tools and procedures related to project and their effective use
Understanding requirement
  • Ensures to understand all the phases of project, standards and quality expectations
  • Responsible to understand information/support required for executing assigned tasks and communicate clearly to Project Lead/Tech Lead as needed
Technical solution generation
  • Accountable to work on assigned tasks and provide the deliverables to agreed specifications. Responsible for concept development for solution implementation within assigned time frame
Skill development and contribution
  • Responsible to attend technical training related to project provided by Team Lead/Project Lead
  • Responsible to ensure and maintains skill levels required for the project, knowledge and understanding of all phases of job and those that require improvement of skill and experience
  • Shares the knowledge acquired with team members to enhance productivity
Project Management
Project review and reporting
  • Accountable to understand and familiarise with the project scope, purpose and reporting hierarchy
  • Understands and adheres to multi-disciplinary team coordination
Project execution
  • Accountable for timely reporting and submission of error free deliverables to Line Manager as per the schedule

Technical Focus Areas

  • Study Order copy, customer specification & electrical drawing, develop detail engineering of MCC.
  • Preparation of Single line diagrams, control schematics, wiring diagram and plans in Autocad
  • Preparation of structural drawings, General arrangement drawings in CREO.
  • Arrange kick of meeting with all stake holders of project.
  • Update project status to all stake holders.
  • To keep accurate, up to date and organized documentation relating to all work based activities. Preparation configuration and bid documents by studying Specifications and drawings for electrical switchgears such as MCC and electrical drives.
  • Find deviation if any for technical queries of plant & electrical equipment to enable production of control wiring diagrams.
  • Preparation of general arrangement drawing, master bill of material & control schematic.
  • Co-ordinate with shop for resolving issues during manufacturing in shop floor.
  • Co-ordination with offshore engineering team, customer/consultant to update on project related queries and follow up for the same
