Position – Procurement Engineer

Exp. – 10 to 15 years
Location – Vadodara
Salary – INR 12,00,000 – 22,00,000 PA.

Job Description

• Having working experience with Chemical / Petrochemicals Industries
• Exposure to Procurement Process & cycle for both Pre-Ordering & Post Ordering activities
• Involved in finalization of Vendors, Contractors of all the disciplines.
• Exploring new suppliers, Technical Bid Tabulation, Commercial Bid evaluation, Tabulation & Recommendation,
• Evaluation of new and existing suppliers and subcontractors and negotiates with them
• Monitor project cost closely and inform Project Manager about areas of concern
• Budget Preparation & Cost Control
• Candidates from Engineering consultancy & EPC projects background will be preferred.
• Tracking of POs, Co-ordinate/issue PO’s, track material and services
• Receive and log incoming materials
• Initiate order supplements
• Should have overall project experience of start to end the project cycle
• Postorder monitoring of purchase orders / Contractors for Projects executed by Company till delivery of supplies.
• Follow up and obtain the first set of supplier documents and final documents.
• Co-ordinate with Buyer to get PO details / Vendor details/ schedule etc.
• Follow up with the supplier and get the supplies as per PO delivery dates
• Follow up with sub-suppliers for any assigned deliverables
• Responsible for recording and transcribing of project meeting minutes
• Good knowledge & understanding of project expediting works, report preparation, and document management
• Co-ordinate with the inspection coordinator for arranging timely stage & final inspection visits to the supplier.
• Monitor that work and progress are in compliance with the project requirement and schedule.
• Proper interchange of information & Documents of documents.
• Having an experience in Desk and field expediting.
• Having awareness of various manufacturing process.
• Involved in final documentation works
• Having good communication skill
